Held in Place: Tending to the Story of your Heart and Home.

We spend a lot of time in our homes. Yet, our homes are often not talked about when we talk about wellness. Physical clutter leads to emotional clutter, and we can end up in avoidance and shame cycles that are draining and discouraging.

We try and care for our space. But the logistical needs of help, time, and know-how are often lacking. We also live in a culture of materialism that is in our face to consume, often with the promise of happiness attached.

I want to begin a discussion of WHY it’s so hard to begin creating a home we love (when that’s what we desperately want!), and what it would look like to create a home that feels current, easy, nourishing, and sacred. There is much to learn about the fight, flight, freeze, or fawn state we tumble around in when we attempt to to declutter, and there are needs for very practical help and a plan to be sustained in the effort.

A beautiful home doesn’t have to cost much either. Items can often be found when you ‘shop your house.’ Plants can be propagated, art can be created, and there are gorgeous items full of life that can be thrifted.

If this is something you would like to explore more, please reach out. What I am offering is a mix of decluttering, organizing, design, feng shui, psychology, vision-casting, nervous system regulation tools/education, value-identification, and plan to move forward. There is help for the overwhelm. I hope to hear from you soon!
